Let the Good Times Roll

This past Sunday we headed to the Highland Parade after Oliver's nap.  Jacob's aunt and uncle have a shop on Line Ave. and they grill out every year.  We got there just before the parade started and we headed to find a spot.

Once we found our spot we got ready for the fun to begin.  It wasn't long before you could hear the sound of the firetrucks and police cars.  It was really loud and at first I thought it might be too much for Oliver.  He looked scared at first and then once he saw them up close seemed to enjoy it.

First beads of the day!!

Throw me something Mister!!!

Over here!!!

He kept saying football football....and he finally got one!

Showing off his beads to Granny

Taking a break...It is a lot work catching beads! Ha!

After the parade we heading back to the shop to eat and play.  Oliver loved dancing with Callie!

Of course when we got home Oliver couldn't wait to decorate Mr. Piddles.
