Ollie Visits The Crows

It has been 6 LONG months since Kelley, Mandy and Aaden moved to Lake Charles.  We went to visit them for the Fourth of July and they have stopped by our house a couple of times but we haven't had any quality time together since July!!  So of course we were super excited to find a weekend that worked for all of us and we packed up and headed to LC!  Ollie slept all most all the way down there and woke up when we arrived at The Crows just long enough for Mandy to get some kisses then he quickly passed out again.

On Saturday we woke up and the guys went to get breakfast while we made plans to go take the boys to meet Santa and do a little shopping.  Poor Aaden did not like Santa at all and because we woke Ollie up from his nap to see Santa he had no interest in smiling for the camera but he didn't cry (at least not this year....ha).  My copier is not working so hopefully I can upload the Santa picture soon. We did get some cute pictures of the boys in their outfits when we got home.

 LOVE LOVE LOVE

 BATH TIME

Saturday night after the boys were bathed and asleep in their beds Kelley's grandmother came over to watch them so we could have an adult dinner and catch up.  It was so much fun getting to spend time with them.  We had an amazing dinner at Luna's and then went to have Blueberry Martinis at Lucky's!! SO MUCH FUN!

The Crows got Oliver a beautiful rocking horse for Christmas.  He looked like such a big boy!

Could he get any cuter!!

On Sunday we stayed to let the boys play some more while we watched the Saints game.  It was so neat seeing Ollie interact with Aaden.

Notice that both of them are only halfway dressed...ha!

We are so glad that we got to spend some QT with our very wonderful long lost friends and we are counting down the years, days, hours, minutes and seconds until they move back home!!

This past week I finally found Oliver a new bath seat that he could sit in and I couldn't wait until Christmas to give it to him...

Usually we go to Jacobs parents on Christmas morning but since we now have Ollie and they don't have a house (they are in the process a building one on Cross Lake) everyone will be coming to our house on Christmas morning.  Our tree has gone from having no presents to having no more room for presents underneath it.

 Sooo exciting....I CAN'T wait!!

I can't believe that tomorrow is Christmas Eve!!  WOOHOO!!!!

K-9 Update!!

WOOHOO!!!  Our prayers have been answered and our dogs were found at the pound!!  It cost us $120 to get them out...CRAZY but so worth it.  Our house was so quiet and miserable without them.  Jacob said that when he got to the pound the workers had just hosed them all down with cold water so they were shivering....PUH! The worker said that Boudreaux was very friendly and Kingston was scared.  We are just glad they are safe now!

Thanks for the prayers!!

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Wow where to begin!  We have been busy filling our house with the smells, sights and sounds of Christmas.  It has taken us longer to decorate the house than ever before because of our little Ollie.  Although he has no clue what is going on I still wanted him to be a part of everything.  We didn't buy any new decorations this year but I did buy an ornament for Oliver's first Christmas!  Here are some pictures of the decorating...

 Ollie helping with the lights!

Putting his first ornament on the tree

At my office this year I promised my staff a Saints themed Christmas!!  We decorated the tree and the mantle in all BLACK AND GOLD.  These are some of the pictures that will be on our Christmas Card for work.  WHO DAT!!!!

Now back to Oliver.  Since our little one has "a few" Christmas outfits I decided that he should wear one every Sunday to church in December!  So here is the first Sunday...

Standing by his Daddy's chair...so adorable!

I think green just might be my new favorite color on him!

Ollie and Daddy!!

Also this past Saturday was Ollie's 6 month pictures/Christmas pictures.  I prayed that his forehead would be scratch free and his skin would not go crazy!!  It worked he looked adorable and we even managed to catch some smiles!!  We had to act like complete idiots but who cares!!  He just gets so serious when the camera comes out.  He did so well seating up by himself and standing up while holding onto a chair.  I can't believe how fast he is growing!  The pictures are AMAZING and I have no clue how I will choose!!!  I did manage to choose 2 for the Christmas cards and they should be arriving to me by Friday!!

Just one of the beautiful pictures of Oliver!!

He amazes me more and more everyday.  He has so much to say and babbles back to us all the time.  The other night Jacob was reading him his ABC book and every time Jacob would say a letter and the word Ollie would talk right back to him!  It was so cute.  He has to turn off the light every time we leave his room and he is still OBSESSED with paper!  He has taught me so much about myself!! I can't believe how lucky I am to have him in my life!!!!

OUR DOGS ARE MISSING!!! THEY ESCAPED FROM THE BACK YARD AND UNFORTUNATELY HAD NO COLLARS ON!!!  WE ARE HOPING AND PRAYING THAT WE FIND THEM BUT UNTIL THEN WE PRAY THAT THEY ARE OKAY!!!
