As you know we started Oliver on rice cereal a couple of weeks ago and shortly after that his head broke out. So we stopped feeding him cereal to see if the rash would go away. A week went by and there was still an icky looking rash on Oliver's head so I called Dr Haynes yesterday and she said to bring him in the next morning. I began to do a little more research that night on the computer on cradle cap. He had had a little break out of cradle cap before but it always looked like dry skin not red and icky like it was this time. After looking at some disgusting images of children with some serious cradle cap I came to the conclusion that that was probably what it was but still this morning we headed to see Dr Haynes to make sure. Oliver was very ready for cereal again!! Sure enough Dr Haynes said it was just more cradle cap and not to worry unless it begins to look infected. So we will keep using the shampoos and lotions and Ollie can finally get back to eating cereal with no worries!! Oliver also weighed in at 14lbs!!
Oliver and his new toy!!
This toy was going to be for church but as we soon found out it makes a little to much noise for church.
WOW is that really Ollie on his TUMMY!!
If you don't know my little Ollie absolutely hates being on his tummy...he freaks out and goes into newborn mode!! This was a very rare moment of victory!! Daddy was out of town for the day so we made sure to take pics and video for proof!! YEAH OLLIE!!!
This is how i found him after his nap. He has clothes on but he was trying so hard to wiggle out of his swaddle that he wiggled out of his shirt!! So darn cute!!
Oliver's Great Gram bought him some new shoes this weekend and he couldn't wait to show them off at church!
Ready to hear the lesson!
